Parking Fees

-
Speed of charge
The Galway Retail Park site shares 199kw.
The Sandy road site has a capacity of 1mva.
The speed of download you achieve has a significant amount of variables as to why one session is faster than another. The main reason is your car telling the charger how fast to draw the electricity down. Your car will need to have 800v architecture and a max capacity over 200kwh to get the max out of brite chargers. Most cars dont. If you are getting around 60kwh - 90kwh you are doing fine. We cant help you increase your power drawdown unfortunately. The only definite improver for speed is charging the car from approximately 5% battery capacity on your car.

My card wont tap / charge wont start
This has got to do with the plugs timing out. Please take the charger out of the car, wait 5 seconds and plug back in. Tap the reader, check the main screen, it will go from “connected” to “initializing” to “charging”. Please try a second card if one card does not work. Some bank cards such as business credit cards may not work immediately.
-
Time Out - Session Non start
If you connect your car to the charger and spend an extended amount of time downloading the app or figuring things out, by the time you start the charge the charger may have timed out. Its always best to get everything ready, plug in the car and immediately start the charge session. If all else fails, plug out the charger from the car, lock and unlock the car, plug it back in and start again.
